Selmer 'Cigar cutter' Alto 1932

Hi I have a H. Selmer Alto sax (made in Paris) number 16036. It was shipped to the UK as it was sold by Hawkes of Piccadilly London. It is a lovely instrument and i have owned it from my early years  and played it often but I never bothered to find out its history until reading a little bit about it on here.
I wouldnt want to sell it as it has a great deal of sentimental value to me but wondered if it has any real value in money terms, it has a great tone and i still get a great thrill when playing it. Solid and rather heavy for its size, it has a deep almost copper brass color, and a deep tonal quality  ..a beautiful instrument.I have attached a photo or two for those interested.
