Wouldn't It Make Sense

"Wouldn't it make sense" to put a Spit Valve on the bottom curl of a Saxophone?  Maybe they have one already, and I just don't know it yet, but I haven't seen one.

Fantastic idea I was thinking the same thing some two days ago . I notice that too much spit collecting in the bottom affects my tone What strange thing that 2 members think the same try not to tilt the sax mid tune. maybe play upside down a novelty

Completely ridiculous idea.  It's not like there's the same issue with moisture accumulation like there is in a trumpet's tubing.  And if there is a problem, all you need to do is tilt the horn forward.  Why add another valve to potentially malfunction?

Not such a crazy idea it would also offer a discrete way of emptying all the moisture collected from the  evapouration of our warm breath

im still all for it prvided the tone is not affected

        come on guys progress

how long do you think it would remain undamaged? I can't think of any place that would be more vulnerable.......
