Help me learn about my sax

I bought this sax about 18yrs ago. I'm just wanoting to know some things about it. It's an American standard high grade saxophone. Numbers on the back are B384. Has original pads, neck, and Lifton case. Had original mouthpiece when purchased. Unfortunately, teenage me accidentally warped it while sterilizing at my mother's instruction. Hindsight, I should have just dipped in alcohol. Plays great, just rough finish. Logo is partially obscured. This is all I know about it.
