Conn shooting start tenor sax, value?

I have a shooting star I think from 1905. Model 16m I looked up the serial number and it says it's from like 1805 1906ish area. But I don't know for sure. It's a 16m tenor saxophone. Says made in the usa on the bell. Serial number is 8300** please let me know if you can help me out to see of o got a good deal on it.  It is in playable condition and sounds fantastic!

The serial number puts it at 1960, not 1905.  The American-made 16Ms are decent student horns, albeit with dated keywork.  The best way to tell the value of such a horn is checking closing prices for comparable horns on eBay.  But if you enjoy playing it that's the most important thing.  Just be careful how much you put into repair costs if you don't want to be upside-down on its value.
