Backup equipment for small solo performance

I need recommendations for equipment to backup solo performance for a small group. I play an alto and want to entertain some senior citizens. Still learning, but ready to try my wings. I have lots of Finale charts with piano and rhythm backup that I use for practice. How would I play these before a group.

Buy a good boom box! Play your CDs on it and play along with your alto. This is the cheapest way I can think of.

I have used band in a box for several years and I play it into an amp through my laptop computer...this allows you to control volume, number of chorsus's, key, and tempo....when you play along with a CD you are restricted to whatever in on that CD.....

ireal pro is better and cheaper, but doesn't have the melodys, only the chord changes. And I like it's sound better than band in a box! It already has 1300 tunes and only cost $12.00 to download. But this guy has CDs so I guess I'll stick with my Boom Box suggestion.
