Just Joined

Hell Folks,
              Just joined this excellent site, had'nt known of its exisitence. I've purchased a Weltklang Tenor serial # 44055. Have been told that it was first purchased by the Russian Army Band. Would be grateful if anyone could advise if its possible to check the history via the serial #. Regards.
