Re: levels of sax players
I think a intermediate sax player would be someone who has the talent, been serious about sax for a few years, regularly puts in the time in the practice room, has all their fundamentals down pretty well, can play and solo with background tracks, and above all know that they haven't got the saxophone down! Lots of sax players think they are great but never had the talent in the first place. I have a friend who has a degree in saxophone but he's really only an intermediate player, yet he has no idea where he is? Not a clue>.....~)
