Martin Committee II from an ignorant Opera Singer

Hello gentlemen,

As I've been cleaning out my late mother's home, I rediscovered this Martin Committee II stored away, and as I gave up my instrument playing days in early college I'dlove to get this thing into better hands.

A few questions from someone with little knowledge of the sax (I was mostly a low-brass and string player previously):

Is this a good site to thrown this on for sale?
Would repadding it by a localrepair man be worth it?
Does the horn look even worth the trouble?
Can I remove the green tarnish myself, or should I leave it to the pros?

Looks nice!  If that's original lacquer it's impressive. Don't worry about fixing minor blemishes.  I'm sure somebody would love to have an old Lion and Crown, Definitely worthwhile to have it looked at by a repairman to see what kind of work it might need.  This site has a Trading Post, why not use it?

I would definetly have someone look at it. It's a great horn! Someone would snag it from you.
