Jazz Saxophone Duets

I write jazz duets for saxophone which can be found here: http://clarisheets.com

I would love your opinion on them! There are also clarinet duets on the site for any clarinet players out there.

Here is a YouTube link to one of the Saxophone Duets which is from the set of duets entitled Saxophistry:

    Re: Jazz Saxophone Duets

These are looking great. Fantastic stuff for a younger demographic. Speed it up and add a solo section in, and the older demographic could probably get a kick out of it as well.

However, your grading scale may be slightly confusing. I'm not sure of the grades in Britain, but in the US, most children do not start with instruments until the 6th grade. And, we also have a musical difficulty scale ranging from 1-5: I'm sure you could guess that it would not be considered 4-5 under that scale.

However, the composition is great again. It's nothing short of what you could expect.

Thank you so much for your feedback! Very valuable :) I hadn’t thought of a solo section; excellent idea. Our grades go from 1-8 in the UK so yes a bit different. The grading issue is an important point, actually. I think I will change this to Intermediate instead :)
