This is a late model C.G. Conn transitional alto sax, serial number 267736. Produced just before the official introduction of the 6M, this horn shares most of its features, including same side bell keys, double socket neck with underslung octave key, improved table keys, and of course, the famous "Naked Lady" engraving on the bell. Whereas lacquer is the standard finish for the 6M, this alto is in beautiful original gold plate.
