BUESCHER True Tone - Silver Plate (Serial Number: 158769) Back to model

Here is an extremely nice silver Buescher curved soprano sax, serial number 158769. This one was fully restored and set up in 2005 by Saxquest's Duncan Bamsey. Physically it is pretty near perfect.

The silver plating is over 99%. The only wear is a couple small spots on a couple touch points. During the overhaul the horn was carefully shined up and looks like new. There are no dents or dings, and no resoldered joints. The instrument has been well maintained and never abused.

This horn is a beautiful player, with an amazing rich core sound and an almost hypnotic warm tone. It's the kind of horn you can pick up and play for hours on end, it's such a joy to play.
