BUESCHER Late True Tone Silver (Serial Number: 250202) Back to model

This is a very late vintage Buescher True Tone curved soprano saxophone, serial number 250202. This particular Buescher has a unique key cluster in the left hand only seen after about 230xxx in serial number. It has more of a vertical array of table keys. We see a lot of high F curved Buescher soprano’s and this one is the latest serial number we have seen yet.

As you can see from the pictures this horn is in incredible physical condition. The satin silver finish is a very nice 99%. There is no trace of any previous re-solders or damage to the body. The gold plated bell flair on the horn is in great original condition and has never been pulled down in the past. Its bottom bow, bow cap, and neck are also in great original shape.

Late vintage Buescher True Tone sopranos are known for having very good intonation. This curved soprano is no exception. It tunes great and speaks up to high F with ease. This is the most desired vintage of Buescher curved sopranos and after playing it, its easy to see why!!!
