Just bought a YTS 62 as a backup tenor for my Mark Vi. (It's a purple logo Yamaha.) It's really a nice horn, it doesn"t feel like my Selmer but I reccomend it anyway. Here in North Florida there aren't many good repair men, so as it is with vintage horns, my Mark Vi goes in the shop alot! Once in the shop it takes forever to get it back!! I play tenor 5 days a week so I had to have a backup. The Yamaha 62 is very bullet proof. I've even seem one knocked off the stage and still plays. It's loud with a contemporary sound. It's just the horn for outsde gigs.....I only paid $2000.00 for it......it's worth every dime to me!!
