Vintage Conn Transition 6M Alto Sax - One of a kind rare find.

Silver plated Alto in excellent playing condition. Has a gold wash bell. Some of the silver plating is worn on a few of the keys, which gives it character. Most of the silver is perfect.The "lady face" is lovely and detailed. I have been told the engraving is unique, ingidcating if may have been a special order horn.  No dents, two very minor dings. Pads, corks, felt, springs all in excellent playing condition, no leaks. Neck with microtuner, marked STD'D M which is reputed to play better than non marked neck. G# trill key. All mechanism is smooth, full mellow sound. 
You can play this sax right out of the case. 

I have had this instrument since 1961 when a new case was purchased. The instrument has been played very little by me, since I am really a clarinetist.

I am selling it because I am no longer playing and I would like to see this instrument in the hands of someone who will make beautiful music with it.
