Sticky 6M

Well I got a lovely 6M for christmas last year, and the keys stuck VERY badly (the horn has rolled tone holes if that makes a difference). The keys stick HORRIBLY! I've tried applying graphite to dry the pads out, i've given it to a repairman, who just made it worse, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help Seano

First, clean the tone holes around the rim. I would think the repairman would have thought of that. Something that has worked for me was to take a very tiny amount of 10W40 oil, and spread it lightly around the pad. Keeps the leather soft and supple, and prevents sticking.

Thanks for advice, cleaning the tone holes helped a bit, but i am getting the feeling that i have dodgy pads, there seems to be a glue-like substance coming from where the pad and key are stuck.
