        yes its a professional model, and arguably one of the better conns ever made, to get a viii in silver plate is a nice horn and somewhat rare.

      I have a Conn 6M. Simply one of the best saxes ever made. As far as I'm concerned, sound wise they slay any Mark VI I've tried. That's just my opinion.

        Oh, and to answer your question, yes it's rolled tone holes, and the L stands for low pitch, which means that you'll play in tune with other instruments, if you do indeed play in tune.
