BEST CLASSICAL SAX PLAYER

One of the best saxophone players I have heard is undoubtedly Ed Fraedrich. His tone is sonrous and full of depth and is certainly representative of classical playing. I do not like, however, how some people call Harvey Pittel the epitomy of classical playing. Pittel's tone is abrasive and does not control the overall sonority of his tone. Unfortunately, Ed Fraedrich does not receive as much publicity as other saxophonists do (who as a matter of fact, should not).
