Vintage Saxophones

1929 - Buescher Tenor Sax & 1975 Selmer Mark VII Alto Sax Family member died who had a Buescher Tenor Sax, #237651 1/2 and a Selmar Mark VII Alto Sax, #245956. Both are in excellent shape, in original cases. We can use any help we can get to determine values and suggestions on how to sell.

    Re: Vintage Saxophones

If you email me pictures and a description, I can give you an idea. You will likely need the pictures to sell it via the internet anyhow, so it's a good idea to take lots of them. Closeups all around the body and bell, the keywork, the neck - even the mouthpiece and case. Any engravings or markings are worth capturing in the photos. Any lacquer wear or dings/dents should be captured in the photos, too. Some level of wear is expected on older horns - it just helps assess whether it's a major overhaul being looked at or only some minor adjustments. [email protected]
