I USE A TENOR MOUTHPIECE ON MY C MELODY- IT SOUNDS BETTER THEN A ALTO MOUTHPIECE AND IF YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES- IT DOES MAKE IT SOUND LIKE A MINI-TENOR

Chasing down a good C Melody mouthpiece can be a challenge. I have an original one but it has concave sidewalls and has no character. I liked playing a vintage tenor Soloist on mine, but now that mpc is gone so I have to find a new one.
