Can we account for all 17 of the original ones left? Sigurd rascher had one - I think carina has it now Paul cohen has one Nuclear whales has a buffet Thomas mejer Curtis Guckhert I think has one...cant quite remember. by Bass sax man (31 posts) 20 years ago While we are on the subject of contrabass... Robert Verdi has an original Buffet contrabass. Rick Izumi has an original Buffet contrabass. I believe there is a link to his email address on his site, and to the same question on a different post, yes we are very good friends. I bought my Bass Sax from Jay :o) There are still pictures of it on his website though under the *Bass Sax* page, it is the Buescher. The one you saw on Ebay was most likely fake, even the shell of an Adolphe...no...even the CASE of an adolphe sax is worth more than 120 dollars.
