Selmer 80 Super Action Alto Saxophone

Hi.  A relative has given me a Selmer 80 Super Action Alto Saxophone, serial number 363781.  It is in the original case with all of the origional parts.  Dusty but in great condition.  Can anyone give me any information about it or its value?

    The Super Action 80 was produced in the early to mid 1980s before the Super Action 80 Series II was introduced.  Yours was produced in 1984.  Rightly or wrongly, they are not as highly regarded as the Series II horns so they are worth considerably less than a Series II on the market.

    I paid $2600 for mine, but it had been Richie Cole's axe during the 80's.  He hand picked it at the Paris Selmer factory, so I know it was an exceptional example.
