Bari tuning issues

I've played only tenor for years (a Mark VI for 30, to be exact), but recently purchased a Buescher 400 bari (around a mid 70's variety). It plays pretty well, but the high A and B are about a 1/2 pitch flat. The hihc C through F are in tune. I think the neck is the original one, but I'm not positive. Any other thoughts about the tuning? Is his common with most baris?
