Tips for better searching

Fremont Mirage Tenor Saxophone.

I have seen one for sale, I am a vocalist who wants to also play sax. Can anybody give me some advice, so any of you own a mirage tenor? thanks

    I'd stay away from anything not well known. Yamaha makes great student model horns, and selmer USA horns aren't to shabby either. You can also get nice vintage horns at prices sometimes half what you'd pay for a new student horn. Try to stick to Conn (1920's to early sixties), Selmer, Yamaha, Martin, and Buescher. Hope that helps

      Hi eman many thanks for your advice, I was beginning to think that myself as I tried many search's for the Femont Mirage tenor on various internet search engines and the majority of them only came up directing me back to the one I had seen on e-bay. I think I will search for a secondhand horn. Thanks again
