Universo Saxophones

I'm doing some 'asking around' for an old friend, that has this older Tenor Sax. The brand name on the horn is 'Universo'. I'm unable to find much on the internet about this horn, and, it is probably not worth very much. However, I am curious to know if anyone out there has either heard of them, has one, or has any info about that company. My best guess, is that it is some company's 'seconds' that was sold off to a much smaller company, and they put their brand on it. Thanks in advance for any information.
