What is this Saxophone!?

I have a King USA 2416 S/N 858370, when I purchased this a few years ago I was advised it was a 1976 model, having searched the internet for many hours this serial number seems to match nothing made by King!! I am confused. That aside this instrument has a fantastic sound and I love playing it. Please can anyone help with information on this saxophone?

    Here is a partial list of King serial numbers I found www.drrick.com/king.html According to this list, 1975 starts with serial number 511,751. I'm guessing that yours is later; maybe a 1978 or 1979 model. Even the later Kings are great horns!
