Vintage sax

I aquired a sax from my grandfather and would like to know a little more about it.Its a Martin Indian in perfect shape the case is original with matching serial numbers for the neck and horn,not a dent in it but a little wear on some keys.What would be the about worth on this horn if anybody knows?serial#59450

    thats an Indiana by martin produced in 1925. Value wise its best to search thru completed items on ebay Dave

      If you do the ebay comparison, take that with a grain of salt, because few people want to pay as much as something is worth when buying off ebay. I'd get a few estimates from dealers, and be sure to have pictures for insurance reasons.

        Well, ebay is a pretty good indication of market value. The horn might book for $1500, but depending on the time of year, the availability, and other factors, it could sell for $1000, or if it happens to be in excellent shape, and the only one available at the time, it could go for $2000!
