Mp-Reeds

Tenor rubber and metal mp:

OL095 rubber vs Dukoff D6 095 metal: the rubber mp is more difficult to play(for me) using VanDoren 2.5 AA reed. The metal OL 090 and the Dukoff D6 095 and the MEyer 6M 080 play about the same (for me anyway) using the VanDoren 2.5 reed. By the way I love the variety I get from both metal and rubber. The feel, projections, tone and dynamics is what I seek from a soprano mp. Any suggestions???????????

Also..I did see a few comments about reeds collapsing (I thought I was the only one with this problem). Along with "Jug" (Gene Ammons)...Dexter G are two of my favorite players. Dexter G was a Rico man...didn't know that!!!!
