Best mouthpiece for Borgani Pearl Silver

Hey,

just bought brand new Borgani Pearl Silver tenor and thought ask what mouthpiece you folks would recommend for it. Have played with Yammys 4C but it needs a big bigger facing because of the bigger bore it has.

Any thought on Otto Link 7#

I suspect that the chamber size is going to be more significant than facing in terms of of compatibility with the horn.  A #7  Link is a nice intermediate facing that works well with a variety of reed strengths; going much larger or smaller will be more restrictive to your reed choices.  Link also suits my bias in favor of larger chamber pieces.  That beautiful Borg has a lot of potential richness that could be lost with a smaller chamber piece.

Try before you buy is a good rule, especially with Links.  Current production Links are known for their inconsistent quality.  If you're looking for a large chambered Link type piece, you might want to consider a Vandoren V-16.  They offer a choice between three different chamber sizes.

For comparison, a #7 link theoretically has a .100" tip opening.
