G sharp spring loose

Looking thru this forum i note that the g sharp spring is a less strong one , my prob is where does it attach .. alto is a yam yas 62 ... there is a little tag with a ridge ... if that is where it goes how is that supposed to open the 'pad
? 

can anyone post a photo of what i am trying to do ??
