Glasses for Sax

My vision is pretty good, only a bit long sighted, but when i play in a marching band reading off a lyer can be really diffictult and by the end my eyes are really really really sore, i went to the optometrist yesturday and she tested me and now i need glasses for reading music, Is this the same for other people?

I use glasses everyday. I have to. Its not that bad once u get used to it. The only prob u might face in a marching band is that it'll slip down ur nose, but it can be fix. Specs r common from where i'm from.

If you don't like glasses try to get contacts, those will do preety good unless u have allergies.
