NEED TO KNOW CONN ALTO MODEL

There is a Conn Alto for sale, but all I have is the serial number. Can anyone tell me what this would be with the following serial number, and/or anything about it. Thank you. Serial number is: N129810

According to the conn serial number charts, it was made in 1970, which was after conn stopped making pro saxes, so it's probably a student model. Maybe it's the Directors model. Does it have shooting stars on it? A little help here Jim?

You're probably correct. There were very few pro horns made in 1970. If it has the shooting stars on the bell, it is definately a Director's model. The 6M would have the octave key mounted on the bottom side of the neck.
