Jupiter Saxophones New Lineup

Jupiter recently refreshed and reduced its model lineup. Until a few weeks ago Jupiter was promoting its 1100 series as "intermediate" with no "professional" model.  Now they have clarified (I think) that this is their "professional" model. Now they say:

"The JAS1100 gold lacquered alto saxophone is a perfect example of the classic hand-crafted design practices that reside alongside state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The JAS1100 is the perfect step-up alto saxophone for the committed student or practicing professional."

I've never been comfortable with the "student" "intermediate" "professional" designations. What do others here think of recent Jupiter products?

    Re: Jupiter Saxophones New Lineup

If any changes were made to the JAS1100 to raise it to a pro level horn, they likely would have changed the model number for the purpose of controlling service parts, and dealer inventory control. This sounds like the same horn with simply a change in marketing strategy.
