Bari mouthpiece

Hi! Right Now I'm in the market for a new Bari mouthpiece. I've been playing an Otto Link 6 star (hard rubber) for around 3 years but I feel like I just can't fill up the horn with it like I want to anymore. I know I'm going to need a higher baffle and want to keep it hard rubber. All in all I'm wanting to have a mouthpiece that can help get more of an ellingtonian sound that's full. Obviously I know a lot of getting the right sound is practice and listening to who you want to sound like; but the right mouthpiece always helps! Thanks!

    Re: Bari mouthpiece

Maybe you should just step up the number on a rubber link.

Go to like an 8. Check on ebay unless you are spooked by a used mouthpiece. You can always throw it back on ebay and chalk it up to experience if its not what you want.

The sound your looking for is 80% in your head and not the mouthpiece.

    Long tones.
