1950 buescher arjstocrat appraisal???

I have had this since I was a a kid... value wise, I am unsure...  opinions sppreciated...

 

I also have a 1938 top hat and cain tenor.

    The Buescher 140 is a very good alto.  In really great shape and better lacquer, you might get up to $1K selling to a private seller.  But the lacquer wear shown in these photos probably will drop the sell price down one or two hundred.

    Concerning the THC, the serial number lists on this website suggest 1941 for the first year of manufacture.  You can check you serial number against the information shown here:
