Buescher True Tone serial #246006

I have owned several saxes in my life and always find it difficult to part with them.
I am contemplating purchasing a new sax and will sell this one from my collection.

 

I have been offered 300 USD for this sax, and was wondering if that is a fair price?

Buescher True Tone serial #246006, in very good condition.

    I assume it's an alto sax. If it is lacquer or silver, and hasn't been padded in awhile, I think $300 is more than fair.
