The "M" prefix puts its production date during 1969 in Nogales, Arizona. It was a student horn made well into Conn's declining days as a saxophone manufacturer. Conn was acquired by Crowell-Collier MacMillan Publishing under bankruptcy that year. Not the best student horn of its time, but not the worst either.
