I can't hit the low notes (C-Bb) as smooth as I used to... if I do try to play them, a funny noise comes out before the actual note sounds... If you march in the cold during the football season, and don't clean your sax out, that pad could become very annoying. Last year, mine went bad in January, and I didn't get it fixed until may.
