Thats Odd....

Something is wrong with my sax... I can't hit the low notes (C-Bb) as smooth as I used to... if I do try to play them, a funny noise comes out before the actual note sounds...

    Air leak , the first thing to check is a leaking G# key . Press the low F key then look at the key above as you press the l/h pinkie G# and check if it moves slightly , if so its leaking Dave

        If is the G# key leaking and you have a modern sax ,yes you just turn the adjusting screw above the keycup but only a small amount and re-check DAVE

          either that or it's the Eb/D# key. If you march in the cold during the football season, and don't clean your sax out, that pad could become very annoying. Last year, mine went bad in January, and I didn't get it fixed until may. Try checking that key.
