kington alto sax

has anybody heard of the above alto sax i've had since 1955. it has a number stamped 1908 i don't think it is a patent number maybe a mfg. number of some kind any info would be helpful

    I had some pics sent to me of a kingston alto and it was a conn stencil. Does it have a 1915 patent number , underneath letter A under that the serial number then under that the letter L, if so its made by conn Dave

        1914 was the patent date for haynes drawn tone holes , 1915 was for conn drawn tone holes patent date used on the stencil line and pan american line horns Dave

        HERE ARE THE NUMBERS ON MY KINGSTON ALTO PAID. SEPT. 14,1915 1153488 A 03606 L THIS OLD SAX SHOULD NOT BE WORTH MUCH IF IT IS A SPINOFF OF CONN

          Thats made by conn and should be a stencil of a new wonder.They can be nice horns but not very expensive Dave
