I AM LOOKING FOR A CURVED C SOPRANO SAX. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT MAKES TO STAY AWAY FROM? AT ON TIME I HAD 1 Bb SOP, 4 Eb ALTO'S, 11 C MELS, 5 Bb TENOR'S & 2 BARI'S. I AM DOWN TO 5 TOTAL NOW & HAVE BEEN PLAYING SINCE 1943. I HAVE 3 MARTINS, 2 C MEL'S & 1 TENOR. GREAT HORNS. THANKS, CSR

    Re: C SOPRANO SAX

CSR - a curved C-Soprano is a rare bird indeed, I don't think it'll be a case of "what names to stay away from", rather "who made one...?" I know I've heard of at least one, but the manufacturer is lost in the steam coming off my ageing grey matter. I'll be back (as they say.... ) when I've remembered. I certainly don't recollect it was a Martin - I'm a Martin fan as well ( My Martins ? 2 tenors, 3 alto's, numerous C-Mels, and one straight Martin stencil C-Sop. ) I wish you well in your search. Regards, Alan.
