This is a vintage hard rubber Selmer Soloist mouthpiece for the alto sax. This long shank Soloist piece is in great shape, showing mostly just oxidation for its age as evidence of the quality hard rubber make-up. There are a few light surface scratches but no major wear. It does have the slightly more open D facing – always a welcome find on these vintage Selmer mouthpieces.
