For sale is a 1970's Selmer Bundy Tenor Saxophone. SN #577942. Condition: the cork on the neck is decent and the pads are still going. The pearl inserts on the keys are still there. There's a few dings and nicks, as well as some lacquer damage. This saxophone has been in my possesion since middle school (rarely played). It includes padded neck strap, case, ligature, and a older E. Rousseau mouthpiece. According to a source over at Saxquest "The Selmer Bundy is a solid, good begginer level sax. In new-ish pads, it can sell as high as $800-$900 assuming decent orginal lacquer." With that in mind - I think a fair value is $725 plus shipping. Feel free to contact me with any questions. This saxophone is far superior to the cheaply made new horns out there on Amazon, etc. - Jerry |
