Ignored Buescher 400 TH&C

There is an almost mint 1949 TH&C for sale on this website and it has been totally ignored for 2 months, I just don`t get it, these horns are terrific and very hard to find. If you have played one of these horns, then you can appreciate the sound, like velvet being drawn across cashmere. They represent the best in American vintage craftsmanship. The horn can also rip with best of them. In the future, these horns will draw the big bucks..... but in the present, you have to go a `long way to find a better tenor IMHO. Best Regards Mactenor

    Re: Ignored Buescher 400 TH&C

I agree with you 1000%. I was forturnate in 2001 to walk into a pawn shop and find a Buescher 400 TH&C in need of a overhaul. I bought it with in mind of everything i heard about the horn. I took it to my repair person and had them repad the beauty. I have used it ever since as my main tenor and i have played in all kinds of weather around the world with this horn and i feel i don't need any other horn!
