    Since the serial number places it post 1931 and pre 1934, it is most probably a Transitional model indeed. Depending on the true condition (perfect is dependent on who is doing the judging, and by what criteria), type/condition and original or redone finish etc. It is a quite desirable tenor and could be worth a few clams.
