This is a very clean original lacquer CG Conn 26M “Conn-queror” alto sax, serial number 267915. This alto is in tremendous shape, and is a very good example of one of the best saxophones Conn ever produced.

This sax was manufactured at the height of Conn's ingenuity and prowess. It features set screws all over the place, sterling silver key touches on nearly all of the touch points, and improved 6M style key-work. It has rolled tone holes (never filed on) and a trill G#, with original neck featuring double socket receiver, underslung octave key, and microtuner mechanism.

The original lacquer on this alto looks great, with 95%+ original finish intact. This is a very early example, note that it was before the period Conn stamped “Connqueror” on the bell.
